Judge Steven M. Pestka.

He was formerly a Representative in the Michigan House of Reps. He failed in a bid to be elected as a Senator. As a failure... there was only one new place to turn. An appointed position to Kent County Circuit Family Court. He filled a vacancy and new judges are always thrust into the lowly family courts first.
